Hailed by critics as “Impressive”, “Stellar”, and “A Marvel to Watch”, Edwina was classically in drama and music at the historic Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC, NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Off-Broadway’s Atlantic Theatre Company, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy, and has continued her acting and improv training at the world renowned UCB – Upright Citizens Brigade.

Edwina has performed on the New York stage and at some of the nation’s finest regional theaters, including The Kennedy Center, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Juilliard, Atlantic Theatre Company, Center Theatre Group, Baltimore Centerstage, Cleveland Playhouse, Arden Theatre Company, Ojai Playwright’s Conference, and more. Her theatrical credits include Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Henry IV, Winter’s Tale, Cyrano DeBergerac, Crowns by Regina Taylor, Crumbs from the Table of Joy by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, Liberia-set Eclipsed, by Danai Gurira, and Gee’s Bend (for which she received a Barrymore Award Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress).
