Life Lessons from #MichaelKWilliams ❤️🙏🏾 All week I’ve been reminiscing on so many INCREDIBLE moments I was blessed to share with my Big Brother Michael K, both on screen and off. He had so much POWER, so much SWAG.. he was INVINCIBLE!! ❤️❤️

It’s heartbreaking to be here now, but I can’t stop thinking about how much he taught us…the powerful legacy he left behind for ALL of us. Here are just a few life lessons from I learned from our dear brother Mike that I will ALWAYS cherish (please feel free to share your own below..🕊🕊❤️❤️):⁣
⁣
1. Generosity of spirit is one of the greatest gifts we can ever give. Truly taking the time to see others and treat them with honor and kindness will always make others feel valued and loved.⁣
⁣
2. Fame is overrated. Behind the glitz and glamour are real people living real lives, and grappling with real issues. ⁣
⁣
3. Pray, don’t judge. You never know what others are going through. ⁣
⁣
4. Honesty, vulnerability, empathy, and authenticity are superpowers, both on screen and in real life.⁣
⁣
5. Work to see EVERYONE succeed. Life isn’t only about you getting ahead. Take the time to lift others up, and inspire them to soar to greatness.⁣
⁣
6. Transform your Pain into Purpose. Our days are numbered. Fearlessly share your talent and your story, encouraging others to hold on, and make it to the other side.⁣
⁣
7. Live life to the absolute FULLEST!! Love, Laugh, Dance, Write, Sing, Create, Give, and SHINE!! Be your complex and BEAUTIFUL SELF for all the world to see!!⁣

8. Love hard. If you love someone, tell them. And tell them often. Unconditional love is a salve for the soul.⁣
⁣
I love you brother Michael, and I always will. Thank you for taking me under your wing, and never letting go. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 #FBF

My Big Brother Michael K.. I still can’t believe you are gone. 💔 It feels just like yesterday we were filming The Wire.. “bangin out!!” You’ve ALWAYS been our FEARLESS LEADER!! 🙏🏾 But while “Omar” was as gangsta as they come, you… YOU dear brother were a gentle, loving, funny, giving, protective, generous, and encouraging soul. You poured out your life in service of others, and ALWAYS saw the BEST in EVERYONE, and wanted us all to succeed. You were a phenomenal actor, but more than that, a phenomenal friend.. ⁣

I know how much you loved God, Michael, and I pray that you are wrapped in His loving arms even now. You have finished your race and completed your journey. May God bless you sweet brother, until we meet again. ❤️🕊

Celebrating #BlackBreastfeedingWeek!! ❤️❤️ I’m going to be honest~ I was so afraid to have a baby as an actress. I was afraid that everything that goes into #Motherhood- nursing my baby in hair and makeup, pumping in between scenes- would be looked down upon as a major “inconvenience” in this business. ⁣
⁣
But THANKFULLY, I have been surrounded with so much LOVE and SUPPORT, and any #WorkingMama knows, you cannot do this #Mommyhood thing alone!! Thank you @tylerperry, @oprah, and my BEAUTIFUL #iflovingyouiswrong Cast for creating such a warm environment for me to bring a new little life into! ⁣And thank you #annachlumsky for showing me HOW it could be done! Praying ALL businesses and employers will take note- Value and Cherish the BEAUTY of #Motherhood- and #Breastfeeding. We’ve ALL been blessed by a woman who did the hard work of bringing us into this world..❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾
